Robert Parker are well-spread in stylish brown brogues: gay socks peep from beneath
workmanlike jeans: with a leather flying jacket go a dark shirt and a white scarf.
His neighbor, Pete Garrison, wears cowboy boots, a check shirt to match, and dark
slacks. Between them Miss Alison Falconer dispenses guidance on algebra. Such
was the scene yesterday at a school which has been opened at Bushy Park, Twickenham, for
the children of American Service men in Britain. The school is typically American
outside the classrooms as well as inside. It has a campus and, for the
sports-minded, a baseball pitch. |
